On a recent episode of FOX NFL Sunday, Terry Bradshaw and Rob Gronkowski had a heated exchange during a discussion about the Carolina Panthers.

Gronkowski expressed a lack of confidence in the Panthers due to their inconsistency, prompting Bradshaw to defend the team and criticize Gronkowski’s perspective by referencing a period when Gronkowski’s own team struggled.
When asked if he was a believer in the Panthers, Gronkowski replied, “Not a believer…They’re so inconsistent”.

Terry Bradshaw clapped back at Gronkowski, stating, “You ought to be ashamed of yourself…There was a time your team wasn’t that good”. This led to Gronkowski’s on-air rebuttal, referencing a time when Bradshaw’s team was supposedly “six and eight”.
While Gronkowski mentioned a “six and eight” record, reports suggest he was likely referring to the New England Patriots’ performance during the 2012 season.
Although the Patriots finished that season with a 12–4 record, they had some mid-season inconsistency. This jab was a response to Bradshaw’s critique, suggesting that Gronkowski’s team wasn’t always a Super Bowl contender.
A more accurate historical comparison from Bradshaw’s career can be found in his second season. As a rookie in 1970, Bradshaw’s Pittsburgh Steelers finished with a 5–9 record.
In 1971, the Steelers had a 6–8 record. Bradshaw improved over the course of his career, becoming a Hall of Fame quarterback who won four Super Bowls.
Terry Bradshaw shows he still has it, nails a studio throw to Rob Gronkowski
During a FOX NFL Sunday episode, Terry Bradshaw impressed by showing his football skills at his age, reminding fans of his prime playing days.
Bradshaw made a perfect, long-distance throw to Gronkowski in the studio. The impressive pass was part of a segment where Bradshaw demonstrated how Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott held a safety with his eyes to create a lane for tight end Jake Ferguson.
The 77-year-old broadcaster had been absent from the previous week’s show due to an illness.
“I want to show you guys,” Bradshaw said. “I’m holding the safety, then I turn and fire it in there. Just enough holding the safety gave the area. That created a lane for the tight end. It was Prescott’s eyes that held him in place.”
While demonstrating a play from the Cowboys’ Week 11 victory over the Raiders, Bradshaw launched a football from his desk, which landed perfectly in Gronkowski’s hands.
The pass occurred just after Bradshaw and Gronkowski had a heated on-air debate about the Carolina Panthers.
