The first round of the college football playoffs is finally here, and everyone will be watching the Saturday night matchup between Tennessee and Ohio State. It has been a brutal two weeks for both fanbases.
Volunteer fans are doing anything to get under the skin of Buckeye fans, including buying as many tickets as possible and painting Ohio State’s stadium orange.
Tennessee Fans Changed The Name Of Ohio State’s Stadium
Tennessee has one of the most toxic fanbases of any college team, and they haven’t won anything in over 25 years, so fans have been building up this anger for over two decades, and they are giving it to whatever Ohio State fans they see.
Many Volunteer fans travel from all over the country to Columbus. Some fans are so enthusiastic that they changed the name of Ohio State Stadium to Neyland North.
If you look at Wikipedia and Google Ohio State’s Stadium, it shows up as Neyland North because some Tennessee fan changed it on Monday night.

Tennessee plays its home games at Neyland, and since there will be so many fans in the Orange and White in Columbus this weekend, fans are saying this will be a Tennessee home game in the North.
Volunteer and Buckeye fans are starting their little rivalry. Sadly, this might be the only time the two schools meet in a big game this century.
Ohio State and Tennessee have not met since the Citrus Bowl after the 1995 season. Given the current state of these programs, this game might not be played again until 2050.
It will be interesting to see how many Volunteer fans head North this weekend and how many will endure the cold to watch their favorite team.
