The Tennessee Titans’ month-long break is wrapping up. Both veterans and rookies report to training camp on Tuesday, July 22, at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park in Nashville, Tennessee. The Titans’ first open practice is Wednesday, July 23, with seven total sessions open to the public.
Despite the front office drafting Cam Ward first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, he will not be handed the starting quarterback job and must earn it this offseason. However, his main competitor is dealing with an injury.

Tennessee Titans’ third-year QB has dealt with shoulder discomfort

Will Levis has dealt with discomfort in his right shoulder throughout the offseason and contemplated whether to practice through the injury or undergo surgery. He suffered a Grade 2 AC joint sprain in Week 4 and aggravated the injury in Week 6, resulting in him missing Weeks 7-9. Levis aggravated his shoulder again in Week 14 but took a painkiller, played every snap, and started Week 15 before being benched and missing Weeks 16 and 17.
