The Tennessee Titans’ pass defense surprisingly performed well in 2024 despite the injuries to their top two cornerbacks. Tennessee gave up the second-fewest completions and the second-fewest passing yards last season, relying on rookie Jarvis Brownlee Jr., former Indianapolis Colts Darrell Baker Jr., and former second-round pick Roger McCreary to carry the workload. Highlighting one of their top two corners who missed most of 2024 was their offseason acquisition.
The Tennessee Titans’ 2024 acquisition missed 12 games

L’Jarius Sneed played the first five games of the 2024 season before sustaining a season-ending injury. He recorded 23 tackles and gave up 13 receptions on 24 targets for 177 yards, one touchdown, and a 91.8 passer rating. Unfortunately, Snead suffered a lingering and strange quad strain in Week 6, which sidelined him for the remainder of the year, and he underwent surgery in mid-November.
Tennesee Titans key defender receives major update

During the annual NFL League Meetings in Palm Beach, Florida, Head Coach Brian Callahan told the media that L’Jarius Sneed is progressing nicely in his rehab from the quad injury. Callahan went on to say that Sneed should be ready for training camp. Here’s what the head coach had to say about their elite cornerback:
“(Sneed) should definitely be ready for camp,” said Callahan. “He’s moving right along in the rehab process. He’s been around in the building, so that’s been good to have him, to see him. He’s been around almost every day. I think he’s in a good space. I think he’s ready to show that last year was something…that he was trying to prove that he’s still one of the best corners in football. That’s a good place for him to be.”
