The Tennessee Titans needed to address their pass rush this offseason after finishing last in pressures and tied for 30th in sacks in 2024. The front office overhauled their EDGE depth, parting ways with Harold Landry III and signing Dre’Mont Jones and Lorenzo Carter in free agency. The Titans also selected a Big 10 standout on Day 2 of the draft.

The Tennessee Titans selected a Big 10 star

The Tennessee Titans drafted Oluwafemi “Femi” Oladejo 52nd overall in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He soared on draft boards due to his strong performance at the 2025 Senior Bowl, where he displayed his athleticism in front of scouts, coaches, and general managers. Oladejo’s recent position chance also factored into the second-round selection.
After spending the first two years of college with Cal, Femi Oladejo transferred to UCLA for the 2023 season. He switched positions from off-ball linebacker to EDGE rusher in 2024, making the most of the opportunity. Oladejo recorded 57 tackles, 14 TFLs, and 4.5 sacks in 12 games.

Here’s Lance Zierlein’s scouting report on the rookie

“Linebacker-turned-edge-rusher whose draft profile might have gone from dull to dynamic with the switch. Oladejo is long and aggressive in attacking blockers in front of him. A lack of instincts in the run game and plans as a pass rusher could be temporary bumps in the road that should be smoothed with coaching.
“He greets and discards blockers with powerful, twitchy hands and still plays with a linebacker’s range and nose for the football despite his new position. He catches the “developmental” tag relative to his edge experience, but his traits and tape suggest he will make a difference sooner than expected.”
He predicts that he will become an average starter.
