The Tennessee Titans faced the New York Jets in the home opener. Tennessee lost on the road last weekend against the Chicago Bears. Will Levis made a ton of mistakes in Week 1.
In Week 2, Levis did not play much better for the Titans as Tennessee lost at home to the Jets 24-17. In this game, the former Kentucky Wildcats quarterback completed 19-of-28 passes for 192 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also rushed for 38 yards on four carries.
Fans Call For Will Levis To Be Benched and the Tennessee Titans To Start Mason Rudolph
This is the year that will make it or break it in the NFL for Will Levis. Levis has not played well in his first two games of the season. In the offseason, Mason Rudolph was brought in to be the backup quarterback. A season ago, he was the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback. Some Titans fans want Rudolph to start already over Levis. This is what some of them had to say on Twitter:
@will_levis You’re a GD idiot. Same mistake two weeks in a row. Ride the bench and “develop” you scrub https://t.co/XPOFjzllur

Will Levis needs to see the bench

Start Mason Rudolph https://t.co/XdlXjj4mqa

The odds are that is not even in the back of the mind of head coach Brian Callahan to bench Levis. However, he did make a brutal error in the red zone against the Jets, which led to Callahan yelling at him. They missed the playoffs for the last two seasons and it could be three seasons in a row if Levis continues to play poorly.
Face the Green Bay Packers Next Week
One of the biggest stories for the Titans is that they will face the Green Bay Packers next week. With Jordan Love sidelined, Malik Willis is the Packers starting quarterback. Willis was just traded from the Titans to the Packers. Imagine if Willis were to beat Levis next week.
The Titans fanbase may lose their minds if they were to drop to 0-3. Another poor game from Will Levis next week against the Green Bay Packers next week could very well open up the door for Mason Rudolph to start. If that happens, the Titans could be eyeing a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft.
