The Tennessee Titans finished the 2024 season with a 3-14 record. Tennessee will have the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Cleveland Browns will be picking second overall and the New York Giants will be picking third overall.
Cleveland and New York finished with the same record as the Titans this past NFL season. The Tennessee Titans made a shocking move with general manager Ran Carthon on Tuesday.
Tennessee Titans Fired General Manager Ran Carthon On Tuesday
On Tuesday, the Titans decided to move on from general manager Ran Carthon after just two seasons. The Tennessee Titans were just 9-25 in those two seasons. They will be for now keeping head coach Brian Callahan. Over the last few seasons, the Tennessee Titans have fired Mike Vrabel as head coach and also have fired Jon Robinson as general manager.
The Titans are currently a mess. It is going to be interesting to see what general manager is even going to want to take the Tennessee job right now.

Regarding the @Titans firing GM Ran Carthon:
In the short term you can blame Ran, Callahan, Levis, or whoever. But continued managerial failures is a long term Owner problem.

There is currently a lot of dysfunction within the Tennessee Titans organization at the moment. Ron Carthon is probably relieved that he leaves this current mess. Carthon will get hired within another front office. His downfall was probably drafting quarterback Will Levis in the second round in the 2023 NFL Draft from Kentucky.
