The Tennessee Titans’ most intriguing storyline surrounding the offense is how they will handle their starting offensive line throughout training camp. As of now, the Titans currently have three starting spots locked in. JC Latham looks to start at left tackle, Peter Skoronski looks to start at left guard, and Lloyd Cushenberry III looks to start at center.
They have a fierce right guard competition between three players, and the right tackle spot is waiting for their former 3rd round pick, who is recovering from an injury.
The Tennessee Titans RT suffered a season-ending injury in Week 9
Nicholas Petit-Frere had an underwhelming 2023 season. The NFL suspended him for the first four games because of gambling. The NFL activated him on Week 5, but he was inactive since Chris Hubbard had a solid start to the season.
The Titans benched Andre Dillard in Week 6, and Petit-Frere filled in at LT. He started at RT in Weeks 8 and 9. Unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 9 that required surgery.
Petit-Frere recovered from his shoulder injury but underwent a knee procedure during the offseason, and because of that, he missed offseason workouts, OTAs, and mandatory minicamp. He wasn’t quite ready for the start of training camp. As a result, the Titans placed him on the active/PUP list.
The Tennessee Titans activated NPF off the PUP list
According to Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com, Petit-Frere passed his physical and the Titans activated him off the PUP list.
