They say everything is bigger in Texas. And despite standing well over 6 ft Derrick Henry’s game-day stats are bigger? King Henry storms Houston? That would be an understatement for the Tennessee Titans. Henry was given 30+ Carries on the day and finished with 219 yds and 2 TDS
The good the bad and the very ugly in the division rodeo Sunday.
So while we could sit and flourish at Derrick Henry’s record-breaking day let’s get down to not only the game but other noteworthy things to give attention to as King Henry storms Houston
Game on
Malik Willis was thrown into the fire Sunday after Tannehill was given the Sunday off due to illness and last week’s injury. Although he most likely could have played, the Titans played smarter not harder, preserving Tannehill for a daunting trip to Kansas City next Sunday Night. Missing a 48 yd field goal was Randy Bullock who according to https://www.rotoballer.com/player-news/randy-bullock-not-a-strong-option-in-week-8/1089369?amp=1 wasn’t a strong fantasy option going into today.

The next mistake of the game came from Titans Rookie Qb Malik Willis who was getting his first career Nfl start and threw one of his 10 passes a quick dart up the middle intercepted by A Texans Defender.

And the Texans took that drive down for a field goal getting the first points of the game and a 3-0 lead. With 4 minutes left in the first half on 3rd and 2, Henry was able to break free for a 29yd TD run getting the Titans on the board and giving them a 7-3 lead.

The Titans recovered the onside and would seal a 17-10 win for their fifth straight win and their quest to continue division dominance.
FINAL TAKES
if I had a dollar for every Titans passing highlight reel I probably couldn’t get an oil change. The team’s defense getting stronger and the offense even worse
Derrick Henry has reached God status again despite being ranked 5 for projected points https://gridironheroics.com/week-8-gpp-breakdown/ which is great but the Titans are gonna burn him to the ground if someone can’t catch a football.
Malik Willis showed absolutely nothing of smile Sunday. Can’t really give an evaluation when the guy only throws the ball ten times. He looked nervous like a rookie would and spend 99% of the day handing to Henry
The Texans are awful everyone deserves better starting with Brandon Cooks all the way down to the fanbase
The Titans will face a daunting trip to Kansas Coty for Sunday Night football and the Texans will stay at home a host the King of the Jungle Eagles on Thursday Night.
