Tennessee Is Going To Win The National Championship,Says One Major Sports Host

Tennessee has been one of the best teams in college football this season, and after their big win against Oklahoma this past weekend, the national media is taking them seriously.

The Volunteers have one of the best defenses in the country, and their young quarterback, Nico Iamaleava, is turning into a star while being coached under one of the best offensive minds in the sport, Josh Heupel.

The SEC is the best conference in college football, and a few other teams in the conference, including Georgia, Alabama, and Texas, are favored over Tennessee to win it all this season. However, one major talk show host doesn’t care about the other teams because he thinks the Volunteers will bring home the trophy this season.

Colin Cowherd Thinks Tennessee Will Win It All

Colin Cowherd appeared on his talk show, The Herd, on Wednesday afternoon with college football analyst Joel Klatt. He stated that he thinks Tennessee has the best defense in the country and will win the national championship.

That is one bold take stating Tennessee will win it all, and they do have to play Alabama and Georgia in the regular season, so we will see what they are made of when they go against both schools.

The Volunteers still shouldn’t be favored over schools like Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Ohio State, and maybe even Oregon, but they are not far off like they were in past years.

In 2022, Tennessee had a great team beating the Crimson Tide, but nobody considered them a serious title threat. This year, they look like they can compete with any team in the country, and they should be a lock to make the 12-team college football playoff.

Tennessee just brought home the College World Series this summer, so it’s up to the football team to continue the school’s success.
