The Ohio State Buckeyes did not play in the BIG10 Championship Game on Saturday and they were awaiting their fate in the college football playoffs matchups on Sunday. The Buckeyes finished with a 10-2 record during the regular season and it exactly has not been smooth sailing in Columbus, Ohio over the last week.
There have been many questions about head coach Ryan Day after the Michigan Wolverines loss. There will still be pressure on the Buckeyes to win it all this season.
Ohio State Buckeyes Eighth Seed Ahead Of Matchup Against the Tennessee Volunteers
With the Buckeyes not playing on Saturday, many were wondering if the Buckeyes were going to have to be on the road in the first round of the college football playoffs. This bracket makes zero sense. But, it is what it is.

The real question is, will the players try to fight Tennessee when they plant their flag at midfield? 🍊

There is a chance that if the Ohio State Buckeyes were to lose to the Volunteers in the college football playoffs, Ohio State could be making a coaching change and move on from Ryan Day. Tennessee will be the underdogs in this matchup against Ohio State. The Ohio State Buckeyes fanbase knows that if they lose, it will be on Day and Chip Kelly.
