Taylor Swift recently returned to the stage for the first time since the Eras Tour, teaming up with Kane Brown for a surprise performance of her Grammy-nominated hit “Shake It Off” at Travis Kelce’s Tight Ends & Friends concert during his Tight End University event. A source told PEOPLE that Swift, who has continued to be Kelce’s biggest supporter, “enjoys nothing more than letting him shine.”
The event followed what fans dubbed Swift and Kelce’s “red carpet” debut at the opening night of Kelce’s Tight End University. A video posted by the event’s Instagram page captured the couple smiling and exchanging affectionate looks as they entered. Later, the Kelce and Swift were also spotted at the ceremony’s afterparty at a Nashville bar, as seen in posts on Instagram and X.

The source also shared that Swift “lights up” around Kelce and noted the couple remained close throughout the evening, chatting and catching up with others while staying by each other’s side at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl on Tuesday, June 24.
Kelce co-founded the annual Tight End University camp in 2021 with fellow NFL standout George Kittle and broadcaster Greg Olsen. According to the event’s official site, the multi-day summer program was created to bring tight ends together to build camaraderie, share knowledge, and improve their craft through film review, position-specific drills, recovery sessions, and more.
Chiefs Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift

The couple has been making the most of Kelce’s offseason and Swift’s break from her Eras Tour, which began in December 2024. Since then, they’ve vacationed in Montana, spent time together in Utah, New York, Florida, and Nashville, and even took a trip abroad to an undisclosed location after the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl defeat.
The couple has been spending time in Florida during Kelce’s minicamp, but they’re set to move to Missouri for the Chiefs’ training camp next month. Swift has expressed excitement about the upcoming NFL season, specifically because of that move.
Swift has backed Kelce since the early days of their relationship nearly two years ago. Their romance started during a hectic stretch — Swift was in the thick of her Eras Tour, while Kelce had just kicked off his 11th NFL season.

Kelce and Swift managed to make their relationship work despite the chaos. Over the past two seasons, they juggled packed schedules—Kelce with NFL games and Swift with global tour dates—navigating long flights and carving out private moments whenever they could.
The Chiefs will open their season on September 5 with a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil.
