Swift and Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, have been together since 2023. Since their relationship became official, the pop singer has attended a number of Chiefs games. The two are going long and strong and are also looking for a home to settle down in together.
The Met Gala is, of course, not the first public event that Taylor Swift and the quarterback has missed since Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs lost abysmally to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs were eager to score a three-peat and become the first team to win three Super Bowls in a row. However, the Chiefs lost to the Eagles with an abysmal 40-22 final score.
Travis Kelce’s performance was boorish at the Super Bowl, and the tight end blamed the media scrutiny surrounding his relationship for the same. Since the defeat at the hands of the Eagles, Kelce and Swift have kept a low profile.
Kelce has been playing for the Kansas City Chiefs since 2013 after being selected by the team as the 63rd pick in the third round of the NFL draft. The 35-year-old quarterback is one of the truly lucky ones in the NFL, having won three Super Bowl rings with the Chiefs. After the previous NFL season, rumors of Kelce’s retirement have been spreading. It is possible that the tight-end may hang up his cleats pretty soon.

Swift and Kelce are one of the most popular celebrity couples today, especially since the two were often seen at NFL games together.
