Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s surprise engagement announcement has brought about mostly positive news from the public. However, some of them, like Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy, decided to take his reaction in another direction.
Portnoy shared a video where he congratulated the happy couple while walking his dogs outside. The popular sports personality also took the opportunity to call out rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, with whom Swift has had a long-standing feud. The feud kicked off in 2009 when West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. Ye announced that Beyoncé deserved the award. Since then, the two have been taking shots at each other.
“So happy for her. She deserves the world and, and love wins all this petty rivalry. Yeah, I love football. I love the back and forth, but let’s just remember Love wins. So congratulations, Taylor. Couldn’t be happier for you and just fuck Kanye. Just fuck ’em. Fuck you. She won. You lost loser. But congrats to Mother because that’s what this is about.” Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy said about Taylor Swift and Kanye West in a recent video clip.

Between the two, Ye has taken the majority of the shots against Taylor Swift. The popstar, meanwhile, has chosen to face her rivalry in a quieter manner, through her music and her albums. With Ye’s many other scandals coming to light, the majority of the public has been siding with Swift in the feud.
Taylor Swift’s Engagement Was Put Off By Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift’s engagement was definitely picture-perfect, in terms of the aesthetic, the mood, the colors, the ring, and, of course, her lovely relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. According to Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, the tight end had been putting off the engagement for weeks, making Swift very fidgety.

However, he somehow managed to arrange everything in the garden of his home and lured Taylor Swift there, asking her to have a glass of wine before they head out to dinner. Kelce popped the question, and the couple immediately called up their families to announce the news.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement apparently took place around two weeks back, and the two have been keeping it secret since then. In fact, no one suspected that the two were engaged even when Swift appeared on the ‘New Heights’ podcast with Kelce.
