Swift and Kelce made the announcement through a joint post on Instagram. The celebrity pop-star and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared several pictures of their engagement, which took place in Kelce’s garden at his home in Missouri. Apparently, the engagement actually took place two weeks back and the news is only breaking out now.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married” Taylor Swift captioned her Instagram post, adding a dynamite emoji at the end.

Taylor Swift also gave more meaning to her joint Instagram post with Kelce, adding her ‘So High School’ song to the carousel of pictures. In one of the pictures, Swift showed off the engagement ring that she got from Travis Kelce, which featured a vintage-looking ring and a massive stone. According to jewelers, the ring may be worth up to $1 million.
Swift and Kelce were also reportedly engaged when the pop-star appeared as a surprise guest on his ‘New Heights’ podcast last week. In that episode, Swift also announced her upcoming album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’, which is set to release this fall.
