Taylor Swift has been quite busy promoting her latest album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ on different shows and platforms. Apart from only speaking about her music, the pop star has also been asked a lot about her relationship with Travis Kelce and her upcoming wedding to the Chiefs’ tight end.
In her recent appearance on SiriusXM’s show, Swift was asked about her Instagram post for Independence Day back in 2023. The post was pretty interesting since later that night she would be hosting a concert in Kansas City, which her future fiancé, Travis Kelce, would attend.
“How deranged is that post? I’m in a picture with a bunch of girls, it’s not just me & Selena – a few of the other girls found their person right after that, and the fact that it was right before the Kansas City Show…I’d been like ‘happy independence day from your local single girlies’ and then the next day I go and play Kansas City not knowing that Travis was gonna come to the show. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been dating since 2023 and announced their engagement a few weeks back. The power couple has not exactly set a date for their wedding right now, but it is expected to take place sometime next summer.
Taylor Swift Does Not Care About Negative Reviews Of Her Album
Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album has not exactly revved up the crowd like her other albums. ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ has gotten mixed reactions from the crowd, with many negative reactions for the songs being shared on social media. However, Swift revealed that she simply does not care about these negative reviews in her recent appearance on ‘The Zane Lowe Show’.
“I have a lot of respect for people’s subjective opinions on art. I’m not the art police. It’s like, everybody is allowed to feel exactly how they want. And what our goal is as entertainers is to be a mirror.” Taylor Swift said.

Taylor Swift also smartly admitted that whether her album is receiving positive or negative attention, both extremes are still giving her plenty of money. Swift’s newest album is being called bland when compared to her former works, especially in terms of the lyrics. Many fans are also blaming her fiancé, Travis Kelce, for being a boring muse and not being inspirational enough.
