Taylor Swift Scores Special Arrangements From Cowboys Boss Jerry Jones For Holiday Clash Between Cowboys Vs Chiefs

Pop superstar Taylor Swift is bound to get a “special arrangement” for the anticipated Thanksgiving Day game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys, at least according to Cowboys majority owner Jerry Jones.

In an interview with 105.3 The Fan, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed his admiration for Taylor Swift and praised the attention she’s brought to the NFL following her engagement to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“We would have an elaborate seat for her if she should attend the game,” Jones said. “There’s nobody [who’s] a bigger fan of Taylor Swift than I am.”

The game on November 27 represents a showcase game in the NFL’s holiday lineup, as it features two high profile teams and possibly a celebrity presence that will help supplement the viewership. Jones, who is promenade and promotional savvy, conjured the images of special seat and amenities should Swift be in attendance.

The Cowboys, who traditionally host one of the league’s two Thanksgiving games, are embracing the added spotlight as Swift’s cultural influence continues to intersect with football.

Beyond the Swift buzz, Jones also addressed lingering tension with former star Micah Parsons, who was traded to the Packers and signed a four-year, $188 million deal. Asked why he hadn’t contacted Parsons post-trade, Jones revealed the linebacker had explicitly told him to stop calling.

Did Taylor Swift Decline NFL Halftime Offer?

Reports indicate Taylor Swift declined the NFL’s invitation to headline the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, a role that ultimately went to Bad Bunny, with sources saying Swift prioritized a compensation arrangement that reflected her market value rather than performing for exposure.

The NFL typically covers production costs but does not pay a performance fee, a practice the report says Swift found unacceptable given her global drawing power and recent struggles over music rights and compensation.

Insiders told The Sporting News the league initially considered Swift as its top choice but encountered resistance when she pushed for payment instead of the customary exposure-only deal. The NFL later announced Bad Bunny as the halftime headliner.

Sources say Swift has not ruled out doing a future Super Bowl halftime show if the league and she can agree on terms, and that conversations could continue for upcoming seasons, though nothing is finalized for 2026.

Taylor Swift recently released her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” All 12 tracks of the album  immediately occupied the Top 12 of the Apple Music charts.
