Taylor Swift has made her presence strongly felt in the NFL, and now football players are using her lyrics to express themselves. Recently, Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart took some inspo from Swift’s ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ for his Instagram post. Dart shared a bunch of pictures from his latest game against the Eagles, which he and the Giants ended up winning. Dart used Swift’s song in his post, farming from massive aura on social media.

Dart has had a phenomenal rookie year after being promoted to QB1 after veteran Russell Wilson was benched. Since then, Dart has led the Giants to two wins, with the latest coming against Super Bowl LIX winners, the Eagles on Thursday night.
“All that time I sat alone in my tower / You were just honing your powers / Now I can see it all late one night / You dug me out of my grace and saved my heart from the fate of Ophelia / Keep it one hundred on the land, the sea, the sky / Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes” Jaxson Dart used these lyrics from Swift’s ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ in his Instagram post.

Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ has already gone on to become the highest-selling album in history. Several songs, including ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, ‘Opalite’ and ‘Cancelled’ have become major hits. However, fans and critics do admit that this recent album is definitely not Swift’s best work until date.
Taylor Swift May Be Becoming Anti-Feminist
On another note, Taylor Swift is being debated to become more and more of an anti-feminist as per many fans. Swift, who is known for her strong autobiographical lyrical skills, has brought plenty of trad-wife visuals in this latest album. With Swift singing plenty about wanting a lot of kids with Travis Kelce has a lot of fans questioning her stance on feminism.

‘The Life of a Showgirl’ has been filled with many odes and tributes to Taylor Swift’s fiance Travis Kelce. While the album also has many other references and call-outs to other artists, her latest music is clearly meant to display her love for her man, which many feel is anti-feminist.
Still others are arguing that Swift is still the same hard-hitting artist who writes about strong female characters and that the recent album is simply written so because she is head-over-heels in love.
