Game On: Titans beat Packers 27-17
The Tennessee Titans beat the Packers 27-17. As good of a game as it could look for the Titans all around and one of Tannehills best games not only as a Titan but in his career, the snow fell early and the Titans were invincible to it. It looked almost as if the snow was their element. Long drives kept Rodgers off the field the Titans firing on all cylinders
A 14 yd pass to Dontrell Hillard whose been a massive red zone threat this year put the Titans on the board on the games opening drive
As the first 15 expired Christian Watson was able to snag a 14 yd TD pass but not to toe as the Xp was blocked 7-6 Titans lead.
The only scoring that came in the game in the second quarter was a 4yd TD run by Derrick Henry in the final 30 seconds giving the Titans a 14-6 lead they would take into the half. It was a bag of Mixed magic for King Henry on the day
Rushing for 87 YDS and a TD 2 Rec for 45 YDs and a beautiful Td pass which after a Mason Crosby FG cut the Titans lead to 14-9 the Titans drove down the field and like many times before Derrick Henry out of the huddle completed a quick flip pass to Austin Hooper for a 3 yd TD pass giving the Titans a 20-9 lead. Austin Hooper is finding his groove for the Titans he finished 4 Rec for 36 YDS but they were crucial ones.
Christian Watson caught his 2nd TD of ending the 3rd quarter scoring on an 8 YD TD pass, the Packers went for 2 and the lead was cut to 20-17 Titans.
On the Titan’s opening drive of the 4th quarter, Austin Hooper found the Endzone again with an 18 Yd TD pass giving the Titans a 27-17 lead which they took to the end for a 27-17 win
Final Takes
In Treylon Burks’s second game back he had his best game yet 7 Rec for 111 yds and his presence had helped the team grow even more for those that were risky enough to take him as a fantasy starter, congrats to you, he wasn’t viewed by anyone as a Fantasy gem this week. Robert Woods finished with 6 Rec for 69 yds and Austin Hooper had his pair of TD catches. Christian Watson wasn’t exactly viewed as a gem either but after this performance, he’ll likely find his way onto the Fantasy Spotlight
One could argue this was a near-flawless game from Tannehill outside of his lone interception he finished 22-27 with 333 yds and 2 TDS, didn’t seem like the marines could stop him.
Christian Watson was the lone star for Green Bay. The team could have something special brewing, he had 2TDS last night and 3 the week before. It wasn’t an awful game for Rodgers but he missed 15 pass attempts. Green Bay’s wild-card hopes are critical if they are even still alive
