The Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to build on last season’s strong performance, seeking their fifth straight NFC South division title and making it past the Wild Card and Divisional Round. The good news is that their offense has most of its key offensive contributors returning in 2025. These include their talented quarterback, ideal five starting offensive linemen, top three running backs, top five receivers, plus Emeka Egbuka, and their top three tight ends.
Highlighting one of their key contributors returning is their ascender.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE enters Year 4

Cade Otton enters the final year of his rookie contract and will enter free agency next offseason. Otton is coming off an impressive third season, boasting career highs in virtually every major stat category, including receptions, yards, touchdowns, receptions per game, yards per clip, and yards per game. He hauled in 59 receptions for 600 yards and four touchdowns in 14 starts, averaging 4.2 receptions per game, 10.2 yards per clip, and 42.9 yards per game.
Otton missed their final three regular-season games with a knee injury. He returned for the Wild Card and caught two passes for 32 yards.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers ascender praised by position coach

During Tuesday’s press conference, tight ends coach Justin Peelle praised Cade Otton. Peelle believes that Otton will continue to get better, and this is the best he’s seen him despite breaking out in 2024. He also adds that his confidence is aiding in his ascension.
“He plays a lot of snaps, but he continues to get better,” Peelle said, via Brianna Dix of the team’s website. “He has looked the best that I have seen him, and he looks a lot better right now than he did last year just because he is more confident in what we are doing, and he is playing faster…The ball just finds him.”
