With the Las Vegas Raiders gaining their first win in the 2022 season in a 32-23 win against division rivals the Denver Broncos, the team will still need to improve to get better. The Raiders still have coaching problems, with McDaniels still being the head coach. Another takeaway from the game is the team improved defense even against a bad offensive team. A final takeaway from the win/loss is the rushing offense improved, with Josh Jacobs having 144 yards and two touchdowns. Las Vegas gains its first win in 2022 but needs to improve to save the season.

    Winning Despite Of McDaniels

The Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 have coaching problems, with Josh McDaniels being a critical issue. McDaniels shows his incompetence in-game managing by doing an onside kick with eleven minutes left in the 2nd quarter. The onside kick turned into a field goal from Denver to tie the game. Las Vegas won the game despite McDaniels making this mistake and more.

    The Defense Shows Off

The Raiders, throughout the game, have also gotten help from the defense, especially forcing a fumble for a touchdown. Las Vegas’ defense also came up with some big sacks, with Maxx Crosby having two crucial ones. Vegas also produced some critical stops in the Broncos’ offense due to their head coach being worse than McDaniels. The defense, while letting Wilson gain two touchdowns, did their job in stopping the Broncos’ offense.

The Raiders Run Game Shows Flash

Las Vegas has also struggled with the running game in 2022, but Josh Jacobs had a great one Sunday. Jacobs ran the ball for 144 yards with two touchdowns. Jacobs did great work with Derek Carr not having a great game with a 21/34 and QB rating of 76.6. The offense also didn’t make crucial penalties, unlike the Broncos. In the end, the offense did it work against a weak Denver Broncos team.

    What To Do Now?

The Raiders gain their first win but will need to do more to save their season. Even with the win, the coaching staff, especially in head coach, will hold the team back. The defense, despite setbacks, can hold leads in crucial games. Another pivotal take is that the run game can improve with Josh Jacobs showing his flash today. The Las Vegas Raiders, with a 1-3 record, hope this win can save their season but will need everything to go right for it to happen.
