It’s extremely sad to see Overton lose his life in such a horrible tragedy. He meant a lot to so many of his former teammates and coaches, and his former head coach, Dabo Swinney, had a lot of great things to say about his former wide receiver: “Just a beautiful, young life cut short. I love Diondre Overton. He was one of the best teammates … and one of the sweetest spirited kids we’ve had come through here … I have peace in knowing where he’s at.”
