It has been a rough college football season for the Oklahoma State Cowboys and head coach Mike Gundy. The Cowboys are 3-6 this season and are 0-6 in BIG12 Conference play. Oklahoma State could still win its final three games and find a way to be bowl-eligible, but, probably, they won’t even likely reach that goal.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys could make a change at head coach by the end of the 2024 college football season. Gundy has been coaching this program for nearly two decades as the head coach.

This was sincere of him to do after he called out the fans on Monday. However, some people thought that it might have been too late for him to make an apology.

As a curious ASU college football fan, I asked Cowboys fans about you being on hot seat. Even the fans that were the most disappointed had your back.
They were so thankful for your success and most still believe in you.
Beyond disheartening to hear you say this about them.

How are you guys so terrible with the same players that you had last year and won 10 games? Did your players get worse at football or do you have jr. high assistant coaches using crayons to draw up plays?

No need to apologize! You are an incredible coach. Stay focused. Your overall record speaks for itself! Would love for your son to come back next year!!

This is going to be one of the more interesting college football openings if Oklahoma State decides to let go of Gundy in the offseason. The Cowboys fanbase feels like they have no excuse for not competing well in the BIG12 Conference.
