The Pittsburgh Steelers are struggling big time. There Offense is struggling to move the ball, the play calling is atrocious, and the Defense is gassed. After three weeks they are 1-2 and in a free fall. If they want to turn their season around they will need to do it this week.
They enter this week against a Jets team that like them hasn’t found their identity yet. On paper the Steelers have Twice the talent in every aspect of the game. Jets come off after a beatdown to the Bengals. Steelers come into the game after losing to the Browns, a game in which like week two, they should have won. TJ Watt is out again this week which will be another test for the Steelers defense. They will really need to Buck up, especially in the run Department on both sides of the ball.
Coaching needs to be way better also. Canada has not tested the middle of the field at all. They haven’t really tested the deep ball at all either. If they want the running game to be more successful they need to push the deep ball. The more you successfully push it deep, the more it will force the defense to back off creating running lanes. Canada also needs to be more creative, and less predictable, which has been a big issue.
While it is not panic time yet, this has to be the turnaround point, especially with the next few games coming up. If the Steelers can win this game and win by a decent margin, this could be the turnaround they needed to make a run.
