The Pittsburgh Steelers finally put their money where their mouth is when it comes to future hall of famer TJ Watt. Contract negotiations had been at a stand still for what felt like months, but the 30-year-old is officially staying put.
That being said, not all fans are happy about it.
“100k A Day?!” Steelers Destroyed Over TJ Watt’s Massive New Contract, Details Infuriate Fans

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, T.J. Watt has signed a three-year, $123 million extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
He has played his entire eight-season NFL career for the Steelers, who selected him with the 30th overall pick in the 2017 draft. Pittsburgh’s investment in Watt has paid off handsomely.
However, the details of the contract has rubbed some fans the wrong way:
INSANE
#STEELERS TJ WATT WILL MAKE MORE THAN HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS A DAY FOR THE THREE YEARS.
- • Per second: $1.30
- • Per minute: $78
- • Per hour: $4,684
- • Per day: $112,328
- • Per month: $3,416,666
A historic $41 million per year deal

I’m so confused with what they’re doing for the future on offense lol
