Recently, former Steeler CB Bryant McFadden hosted Steeler RB Najee Harris on his All Things Covered podcast. McFadden and Harris discussed the expectations that the RB has for the upcoming season.
Najee commented on his 2021 season and how he wants to progress even more for Pittsburgh in the 2022 season…
“This next upcoming year is gonna be really important for me because last year it was kinda of like an appetizer of what I really could become. There’s a lot of things I need to work on.”

It’s clear that Najee is in no way satisfied with the season he had a year ago. In the 2021 season, Harris totaled 1200 rushing yards and seven rushing TDS. In addition, Harris had 467 receiving yards along with three receiving TDS. Though he had a solid overall performance in 2021, Najee is looking to be even better in 2022.
McFadden and Harris also talked about many other things….like what visor the RB plans to wear this year. His response was classic…”I’m going no visor this year. Its strictly business. I wanna see a mfer’s eyes.”
"Strictly business"
You have to hear the reason Najee Harris won't be wearing a visor this season 👀😬

The Steelers will need to rely heavily on Harris if they want to be successful next season. Especially given the circumstance at the QB position. The starting QB will either be first-round pick Kenny Pickett or free-agent pickup Mitchell Trubisky. Regardless, Pittsburgh will need to feed Najee a ton this season. Last year, when Najee had 25 or more carries, the Steelers were undefeated. Najee has made it clear that he is fine with a heavy workload…as long as the Steelers are winning games. “I want to get 500 touches. Listen, I didn’t have an issue with the high usage rate. You know what I mean? It was the media who had an issue with it. I told them every game. ‘Man look it, if this is the way to winning, I can carry the load.’ I train to carry loads. It’s not something I haven’t done before.”
