Bye weeks start this week so getting the right players in your lineup has never been more important. Here are starts for week 6 in fantasy football.
Gabe Davis WR Buffalo Bills

The marquee matchup of the weekend is the AFC playoff rematch between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs. While this matchup features many players that could have productive fantasy days I think that Gabe Davis is one of the starts for week 6 in fantasy football. The Chiefs secondary has been much improved but last week showed they are prone to the big play. Davante Adams had two long touchdowns against the Chiefs on Monday night. Josh Allen and the Bills love to air it out. I expect Gabe Davis to have a big day on Sunday.
Marquise Brown WR Arizona Cardinals
I had him in my starts last week and I have Brown in my starts for week 6 in fantasy football. When the Cardinals traded for Brown it was met with skepticism. However, the connection between Brown and Kyler Murray has been great this season. This start is less about Brown and more about who they are playing. The Seattle Seahawks have undoubtedly been one of the worst defenses this season. They made Taysom Hill look like one of the top players in the league. I expect the Cardinals to be able to score very easily. Also, this is the last week before DeAndre Hopkins comes back from suspension so take advantage of it.
Breece Hall RB New York Jets

This one pains me as a Packers fan but you Hall is on my starts for week 6 in fantasy football. The Packers run defense has not been great. Their corners play off and as long as Kenny Clark is contained, opposing runners can pick up chunk yards. I am less excited about the wide receivers on the Jets because of the talent in the secondary for the Packers. He started out the season slow but has come on the last two weeks scoring a touchdown in the last two games. Expect Hall to get plenty of opportunities on Sunday against a weak Packers run defense.
Taysom Hill TE New Orleans Saints

I honestly don’t care what position he is playing Taysom Hill makes the list for starts for week 6 in fantasy football. I know he has a very low floor. When he doesn’t get the touches, his under two points can hurt. However, this isn’t much worse than any other tight end. Ask managers of Kyle Pitts or TJ Hockenson (last week at least) how it feels to have a stinker at tight end. His ceiling though is through the roof. All of his opportunities are basically scoring opportunities. I wrote a feature piece about Hill so check it out for more on Hill in fantasy football but I would take a risk and start him this week.
Geno Smith QB Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith is on the list of starts for week 6 in fantasy football. I cannot believe that is a sentence I just typed. Smith is outscoring Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Tom Brady, and Aaron Rodgers in fantasy this season. The defense does not do the offense any favors so Geno Smith has plenty of opportunity to sling it down the field. His receivers are also really good! Throwing to DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett is pretty nice. This game is going to be a shootout and Smith is a great start for the week.
Overall this is a tough week. With bye weeks starting and some tough matchups to predict it is hard to determine who will really go off this week. Hopefully this list of starts for week 6 in fantasy football gives you some guidance. As always, go with your gut and good luck in week 6!
