High school sports and state colleges and universities in Massachusetts are unable to be bet on unless the college or university is playing in a national tournament such as the NCAA tournament. So, for people in the Boston area, you can place wagers on the upcoming Beanpot, as this is a non-NCAA sponsored event.

Mobile Sports Betting
In-person betting is the only option now, but the Massachusetts Gaming Commission has a tentative date of March 1st for mobile sports betting. You can access the online betting platforms to look at game lines but are unable to place wagers until that March 1st date.
