Boston College Eagles Quarterback Thomas Castellanos Announces He Will Transfer
On Wednesday, it was announced that Castellanos is going into the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to on3.com Pete Nakos. This season with the Eagles, he has completed 61.5% of his passes for 1,366 yards, 18 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Castellanos has also rushed for 194 yards on 93 carries and one touchdown, along with averaging 2.1 yards per carry this season.
It has felt like he has underachieved with the Eagles this season. His next steps will be something that college football fans will keep a close eye on.

Nothing worse then a player quitting on your team. Especially in the middle of a season

Glad to see another player quitting on their team more than halfway through the season. Great teammate!

Interestingly, he will decide to do this during the middle of a college football season. Castellanos is from Georgia, so it will be interesting to see if the Georgia Bulldogs or the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will be teams to watch for in getting him.
