Week 14 is upon us. For many leagues, this is the last chance to sneak into the playoffs. Here is my list of sits for week 14.
Gabe Davis WR Buffalo Bills

I believe in the Jets’ defense which is why Davis is on my list of sits for week 14. I am not going as far as saying you should bench Stefon Diggs. I think he is an elite receiver that can torch any defense. Davis I do not believe is that caliber. The Jets’ secondary has been great against the pass and this has the potential to be a gritty defensive battle. Be careful with Davis this week.
Devin Singletary RB Buffalo Bills

Have I mentioned that I believe in the Jets’ defense? I had to put another Buffalo Bill on my list of sits for week 14. Singletary has had a nice year overall. I have him on one of my teams and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. This week I expect him to struggle. He is sharing carries out of the backfield so he will see a 50% workload. The front four of the Jets is scary good. If you start him, you are hoping for a goal-line touchdown which is not a position you want to be in. Outside of Diggs and Josh Allen, sit your Bills players this week.
The Bucs Offense

This entire offense is on my list of sits for week 14. I cannot believe how bad this offense is. I don’t care that they won last week. It was an abomination of a game. Tom Brady has no time to do anything. The second he snaps the ball he is under stress. This week Nick Bosa will be coming after Brady. What’s the record for most sacks in a game? Because Bosa might hit it. Sit everyone on the Bucs this week. In fact, drop all of them. I don’t care about the matchup anymore, they are on my sit list. Rant over.
Ezekiel Elliott RB Dallas Cowboys

I mentioned this in my starts for the week. While I like the Cowboys’ matchup against the Texans, I do not like Elliott this week which is why he is on my list of sits for week 14. I think Dallas gets up big and then rests some people. Elliott is a prime candidate for getting some rest. Dallas is looking to make a deep playoff run and they want him to be healthy. If Dallas is up big, I expect Zeke to disappear from the formations. I don’t think it is egregious to start Elliott this week but I would just be cautious.
Jameson Williams WR Detroit Lions

Willaims may have been a popular late-draft pick or midseason pick-up. The first-round pick has not played all year because of an ACL injury and he is on my list of sits for week 14. He made his debut last week and it was underwhelming. He only saw one or two targets. It is clear that he is still working his way into an offense that already has a lot of weapons. I think Williams is going to be an awesome receiver for the Lions but I don’t think it will be this year. Keep Williams on the bench.
That is my list of sits for week 14. Good luck to all as you push for the fantasy football playoffs.
