Embrace your role in fantasy football this week. If you are playing spoiler or pushing towards the playoffs, embrace it! Here are my list of sits for week 10 in fantasy football.
Geno Smith QB Seattle Seahawks

Smith has been great this year but he is on my list of sits for week 10. I’ll admit I do not have a rational reason for this only the fact that this is an international game. International games do weird things to players. Trying to predict what will happen in a game played in Europe is impossible. Could Smith go off like other quarterbacks have against the Bucs defense? Sure! Could the time change mess with him and he starts out slow and never recovers? Very possible. There is too much variance in these international games. Find another quarterback option this week.
Justin Herbert QB Los Angeles Chargers

Herbert being on my list of sits for week 10 is less about him and more about what is around him. The Chargers have been decimated by injuries. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are not healthy and I have no clue who he is throwing the ball to. Austin Ekeler is a great target but I expect the 49ers linebackers to take him out of the equation. The 49ers defense as a whole might give Herbert fits all day. While I don’t expect Herbert to lay an egg, I also wouldn’t expect a huge stat day from him. With so many other great options at quarterback, I’d sit Herbert this week.
Kansas City Running Backs
If you are on the Kansas City Chiefs running back depth chart, you are on my list of sits for week 10. Last week, the Chiefs were in a close game and did not even try to establish the running game. Patrick Mahomes threw the ball 68 times and the Chiefs only ran the ball 19 times. However, 6 of those rushes were Mahomes on scramble plays meaning only 13 plays went to running backs. Yes there is potential for the running backs in the passing game but they aren’t topping the list for targets there either. I’m out on the Chiefs running backs for the rest of the season.
DeAndre Hopkins WR Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals offense is a mess which is why I have DeAndre Hopkins on the list of sits for week 10. The team cannot find any consistency on offense and Kyler Murray struggles unless he scrambles. Hopkins will also find himself against Jalen Ramsey for a majority of the game which will also lead to struggles. Other Cardinals receivers may get more looks as the rest of the Rams secondary is nothing to write home about. I expect Hopkins to have a very quiet day against the Rams.
Robert Tonyan TE Green Bay Packers

Speaking of offenses that are a mess, the Green Bay Packers! Tonyan makes my list of sits for week 10. You might be tempted to start him on the grounds that the Packers have so many wide receiver injuries, Aaron Rodgers is going to have to throw to someone. The Cowboys, however, have been very good against tight ends this year and at this point, the Packers’ offense is unplayable in fantasy. They refuse to run. The passing game is all out of sorts. Everything that can go wrong, has gone wrong. Tonyan may pick up 3-4 catches for 30-40 yards but I wouldn’t expect much more than that.
That’s my list of sits for week 10. Good luck as you make the playoff push or look to play spoiler this week.
