The Ole Miss Rebels are trying to make it to the college football playoffs this season and the Alabama Crimson Tide could also make it to the playoffs from the SEC Conference. Both of those teams are known for trying to recruit top talent, especially five-star recruits.
Wide receiver Caleb Cunningham is a five-star recruit. He is 6’3″ weighs 190 lbs and is from Ackerman, Mississippi. Cunningham was originally committed to Alabama in July.
Ole Miss Rebels Land Five-Star Receiver Caleb Cunningham
On Wednesday, it was announced that five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham has decided to switch his commitment from the Alabama Crimson Tide to the Ole Miss Rebels. This is a huge win for Lane Kiffin’s program and a huge loss for Kalen DeBeor’s program.
Cunningham also mentioned:
“Sip Made, Sip Stayed”
He decided to stay in the state to play college football instead of playing in a different state. It will be interesting to see what happens when he plays for the Rebels. Cunningham is a class of 2025 recruit.

It is very rare for the Alabama Crimson Tide to lose five-star recruits like that. It is a new day and age in college football. Even great coaches like Nick Saban may have lost a recruit like that and there is nothing Kalen DeBeor can do about it. Caleb Cunningham just wanted to stay home and play for the Ole Miss Rebels and no one can blame kids for that.
