A lot of NFL fans are wondering whether or not the Dallas Cowboys will actually trade Micah Parsons to another NFL team or if they will decide to sign him to a long-term deal. On Friday, Parsons requested a trade from Dallas and also released a statement on Twitter thanking the fans for playing with the Cowboys for the last four seasons of his NFL career.

Parsons is 26 years old and is entering the final year of his rookie deal. With owner Jerry Jones playing games with contract negotiations like he always does, this is probably what led Parsons to request a trade. There is no doubt that there are some NFL teams who can use an elite pass rusher like him.
FanDuel On Twitter Creates Mock Trade Between Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals for Micah Parsons

FanDuel on Twitter created a mock trade between Dallas and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Imagine Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins & MICAH PARSONS 🤯
Should the Bengals & Cowboys make this move to swap superstar pass rushers? 🤔#RuleTheJungle | #DallasCowboys pic.twitter.com/cgC1foGFn5

In this trade, FanDuel has Cincinnati trading Trey Hendrickson, a 2026 first-round pick, and a 2027 first-round pick to Dallas for Parsons. This could be a trade that could potentially put the Bengals over the top in the AFC. However, one of the things this offseason is that Cincinnati has struggled to pay Shemar Stewart and Hendrickson.
Would the Bengals be willing to lineup Parsons with a contract right away? Well, it would certainly be a big time move for Cincinnati if they decided to pull this off. During the 2024 season with Cincinnati, Hendrickson had 46 tackles, 17.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and six pass deflections. He led the league in sacks during the 2024 NFL season in the NFL.
As for Parsons, he recorded 43 tackles, 12 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one pass deflection during the 2024 NFL season with Dallas. This trade could benefit both teams in the long-haul as well.
Fans React To Mock Trade

The Bengals won’t pay Hendrickson what makes you think they’d pay Micah even more

One of the worst trade propositions I’ve seen in awhile.
Hendrickson has 35 sacks in the last 2 years and has reached 13.5 sacks or more in 4 of his last 5 seasons.
The argument can be made that Hendrickson is the better player.

Bengals & Cowboys are cheap they won’t pay
Come to the Browns we paid Watson 230 million to not even play. Imagine what we would pay them— Sam’s Picks (@Splays_50) August 3, 2025
Yeah Dallas isn’t gonna pay Micah who wants to not set the market but they gonna pay Trey who already said he wants to be the highest Paid De pic.twitter.com/ruK9qU5312

Or just pay Trey and keep your picks. This is dumb.

Well, it would be interesting to see how this trade would work if it ever happened. Dallas would be getting back two picks and a star defensive lineman for Parsons. That could potentially be the best offer that the Cowboys could get for him. Hendrickson is one of the best in the league at getting after the quarterback and extra draft capital could help Dallas.
Also, adding Parsons for Cincinnati would help them and he is 26 years old, and Hendrickson is 30 years old. The four-year age difference matters in the NFL. The Bengals have an elite offense, but the defense would need to better in 2025 whether they can make a trade for Parsons or not.
