The Tampa Bay Buccaneers joined the NFL as an expansion team in 1976. This will be the 50th season that the franchise will be in existence.
On Tuesday morning, the Buccaneers franchise announced that they will be wearing special jerseys from the 1976 season in Week 3 at home against the New York Jets. A lot of Tampa Bay fans were thrilled about the jerseys that they will be wearing for this matchup and maybe they could wear it for the full season for home games as well.

Tampa Bay posted on its social media page the 1976 jerseys that they will be wearing in the Week 3 matchup on September 21 against the Jets. This is what the photo looks like:

These jerseys are now on sale online. There will probably be a lot of Buccaneers fans buying these jerseys on Tuesday and throughout the week. This was a smart move for Tampa Bay to go with these jerseys and maybe they’ll wear them for other games during the 2025 NFL season.
