NFL and Hollywood fans are going wild in response to news about Cardi B’s reported expenditure to celebrate her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, at the Super Bowl on Sunday. On Diggs’ side, the New England Patriots are set to battle the Seattle Seahawks for the game’s highest prize, and the rapper reportedly spent over $1.2 million to celebrate the occasion.

X user @Mymixtapez kicked off conversations concerning Cardi B’s famous Super Bowl Celebration plans when he tweeted, “Cardi B is reportedly planning to spend $1.2 million of her own money at the Super Bowl to celebrate Stefon Diggs, as she has invited over 100 friends and family from both sides to the game 💸🏈.” The announcement unsurprisingly has taken social media by a storm as fans go wild over the stakes at hand.

“Lol shes tryna get wifed,” came a rather obvious assertion from @Nika_StoneEl, which echoes the thoughts of several others. However, whether or not the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is trying to win her man’s love, she’s definitely made a statement to everyone – Diggs inclusive – with such massive plans.

Cardi B has reportedly invited 100 family and friends from both parents to San Francisco to watch the Super Bowl. Beyond that, she reserved 40 slots for her guests in a private suite at Levi’s Stadium (costing approximately $125,000), while parting ways with roughly $700,000 to host other guests in the stands.  Like X commenter @itsdream_b remarks, “Love is expensive at MVP level,” and Cardi is pulling no holds this time around in what she reportedly considers a lifetime opportunity.

But that’s far from it all. Cardi has also reportedly booked four private jets to bring guests to San Francisco (costing roughly $250,000), while spending around $100,000 on drinks amidst the game, and another $8,000 over dedicated staff who’d serve food and drinks to her guests.

Meanwhile, the festivities don’t end at the game – regardless of its outcome. Cardi B is planning a private party at a rented location costing about $30,000, with an alcohol bill that’s north of $220,000, per a source close to her.

Diggs had a son with Cardi last year, but has yet to make a ring on his ties with Cardi B. While the Patriots’ player also had three kids with three other women in the same year, it appears he plans to start an official family with the rapper. 

Patriots’ and Diggs’ fans like @CeaselessEnergy would hope her big-money fandom “will bring Stefon and the Patriots luck.” Regardless of the game’s outcome, many Cardi B fans would rather wish her the best in her relationship with Stefon Diggs. “She’s so wife coded I pray Diggs treats her right,” prays @the_elyphant.
