The Cleveland Browns were able to get one of the most productive days from Shedeur Sanders on the practice field on Monday, as he finished the practice completing all nine passes with a pair of touchdowns. This allowed teams to get a good look at what he can do and could lead to a decision being made about the fifth-round rookie’s status in the quarterback competition.
The Browns have four quarterbacks (Sanders, Dillon Gabriel, Kenny Pickett, and Joe Flacco) all competing for the Week One starting job, but one player has predicted the Colorado product could be on the move.
Shedeur Sanders Predicted to be Traded?

On his “Say What Needs to be Said” podcast, two-time Super Bowl Champion Asante Samuel Jr. discussed Shedeur Sanders’ ability on the practice field on Monday and predicted that an AFC team could be preparing to make a trade offer for the fifth-round rookie quarterback before the season begins.
“He goes out there and does something like he did today, nine for nine, two touchdowns, 32 other teams are watching. Oh man, this might be the first time in history that something bizarre happens where a team tries to make a trade for him, like the Indianapolis Colts.”
The Indianapolis Colts have one of more interesting quarterback rooms heading into the season as they signed Daniel Jones this offseason and still have Anthony Richardson in his third season in the NFL. This would certainly be an intriguing fit for Shedeur Sanders as the offense does have some playmakers with running back Jonathan Taylor and wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr to name a few.
With the Cleveland Browns having a significant quarterback battle between four players and Browns owner Jimmy Haslam reiterating that it was not his call to draft him, this could be a chance for Cleveland to move one of the quarterbacks off the roster and get a chance to win the starting quarterback job somewhere else.
