Shedeur Sanders has seen his NFL career get off to one of the most controversial starts of recent memory. The 23-year-old quarterback has been in the spotlight since months before the draft.
However, after some recent encounters with police, there is a possibility of a suspension looming.
Breaking: Shedeur Sanders Suspension Report Goes Viral (Report)

Shedeur Sanders may have to become accustomed to Uber rides if he doesn’t learn from his two speeding violations:
Yesterday, news broke that Shedeur Sanders received a ticket for driving 101 MPH in a zone with a 60 MPH speed limit just before 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Incredibly, a subsequent report revealed that it wasn’t Sanders’ first traffic ticket.
Alex Darus of Cleveland.com reported on Thursday that Sanders was previously pulled over just after 5:00 p.m. in Medina, Ohio, on June 5. Per Darus, Sanders got a ticket for speeding at 91 MPH in a zone with a 65 MPH limit.
Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio pointed out that Sanders already has six driver penalty points, putting him halfway to 12. In the state of Ohio, 12 penalty points will lead to a six-month driver license suspension.
For the safety of himself and everyone else on the road, Shedeur Sanders better learn from the two traffic infractions. Yes, he has the money to pay for Uber or Lyft regularly, but that money still adds up if he needs to use ride-sharing for a lengthy period of time.

The Browns drafted Sanders in the fifth round (144th overall) in April, two rounds after using a third-round pick on Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel.
Cleveland’s quarterback job is by far the most compelling offseason position battle, with Shedeur Sanders, Dillon Gabriel, Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco all trying to win the keys to the starting duties.
Flacco has been regarded as the front-runner, given his experience (17 NFL seasons) and familiarity in Kevin Stefanski’s offense. Flacco won Comeback Player of the Year honors in 2023 after going 4-1 as the starter, leading Cleveland to a surprise playoff appearance.
