The Cleveland Browns have one of the more interesting rookies of the year on their team. Shedeur Sanders’ fall in the NFL draft coupled with his family name has made him a hot button topic. Now that pads have come on, eyes are on him even more.
His stats from his first padded practice have gone viral.
“Wow” Shedeur Sanders’ Stats From First Padded Practice Go Viral, 20,000+ Reactions

In spite of all the discussion surrounding Shedeur Sanders and his NFL prospects, he consistently proves himself on the field where it really matters:
After a couple off traffic violations that were less than ideal given the situation he currently finds himself in, Shedeur appears to be locked back in as he settles into Browns training camp where he reportedly made the most of his reps during the team’s first padded practice.
Word out of Cleveland is that the former Colorado star completed all nine of his passes on Monday where he threw two touchdowns and no picks.

Fans reacted to Sanders’ performance across the internet.
“We can all agree that he is the most talented QB on their roster… right?” a user asked.
“Yea, Schoen messed up bro…” a Giants fan replied.
“We drafted will howard over him,” a Yinzer commented.
“Time will always tell,” a fan claimed.
“He should easily be QB1,” another person said.
“I need you all to know how insufferable I will be if Shedeur is good,” another user warned.
“First team reps or not. To be 9/9 and 2 TDS is great.”
“Pocket awareness is pretty good for a rookie,” another fan pointed out.
“Prove them wrong my boy.”

Whatever your thoughts on Shedeur and how he’s carried himself, there’s a reason he was widely-regarded as a first-round pick leading up to the draft. After sliding all the way to the fifth however, he’s a got a long climb before he’s able to show what he can do as a full-time starter.
The good news is that at some point he’s going to take the field this preseason and get the chance to show what he’s got. But it’s going to take more practices like Monday’s and zero off-field distractions before he’s even considered to compete for the job.
Cleveland plays its first preseason game on Aug. 8 against the Carolina Panthers before two more exhibitions vs. the Eagles and Rams. The Browns open the regular season with a rivalry game against Joe Burrow the in-state Bengals Sunday, Sept. 7 on FOX.
