Shedeur Sanders, newly drafted quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons after he was fined for speeding at an interstate highway. Many NFL analysts and game pundits have been weighing in on Sanders’ speeding ticket, and retired Cleveland Browns linebacker Emmanuel Acho shared his two cents on the same.
Sanders’ speeding ticket has been hyped by mainly his haters, adding to the ‘brash and arrogant’ portrayal of the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback. According to Acho in his appearance on ‘The Facility’, the retired NFL legend remarked that things like this happen when a team invests in a young 23-year-old player like Shedeur Sanders.
“I can’t excuse it in its entirety because at the end of the day, going 100 miles per hour, nothing good’s going to happen when you’re going that fast. I can’t excuse it in its entirety, but to Shedeur’s point, I did things like that when I was 23, 24. I don’t think it’s a good look, obviously, it’s not that bad of a look, but it does make me cognizant of like this is what you sign up for when you sign up for a 23-year-old on your team.” Emmanuel Acho said about Shedeur Sanders in his most recent appearance on ‘The Facility’.
Shedeur Sanders has apparently not commented on the speeding ticket as of now, and neither have the Cleveland Browns as a franchise. This seems to have pissed off fans even more. Sanders did not show up to the court for his speeding ticket but a spokesperson mentioned that he is “taking care” of it.

Shedeur Sanders May Not Have Been Picked By Many Teams Because Of Deion Sanders
On another note, Shedeur Sanders’ draft stock plummeting has been coming up in the news repeatedly, especially because of the huge controversy it caused. Recently, an insider with the Pittsburgh Steelers commented on why Shedeur Sanders was not bagged by the team.

According to the reporter, Sanders was simply not picked by the team because he did not get a proper grade by their scouts. While this may be true, there are also many other reasons why other teams seem to have passed on the young talent.

As per representatives of other teams, Shedeur Sanders was not selected mainly because of his father, Deion Sanders. The senior Sanders has been known to take a very active interest in his son’s football career and is also known to be an egoist, which many teams wanted to avoid.
