Shedeur Sanders recently posted an Instagram story about his scheduled visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers this Thursday. The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback who is predicted to be one of the big names in the upcoming NFL draft has already visited the New York Giants and the Cleveland Browns. However, Sanders looks determined to showcase his skill-sets close-up in every chance he gets before the draft.
Shedeur Sanders played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes after spending a season with the Jackson State Tigers. His father, Deion Sanders, coached both his college teams. In his senior year with the Colorado Buffaloes, Sanders managed an impressive 4,134 passing yards, scoring 37 touchdowns, while managing ten interceptions for the team.
“Legendary” Shedeur Sanders captioned his Instagram story, sharing a graphic of his scheduled visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers finished second in the AFC North after winning ten games and losing seven in the 2024 NFL season. The Steelers made it to the Wild Card round and played against the Baltimore Ravens, but lost 28-14.
The Steelers are still waiting for veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers to come back with a response after they expressed interest in him. At the same time, they are keeping their options open and hoping that they are able to bag Shedeur Sanders in the upcoming NFL draft as well.

Shedeur Sanders Ball-Patting Defended By Analysts
Shedeur Sanders has been criticized for a number of factors over the last few days, especially after the Colorado Pro Day. While Sanders’ arrogant personality has always been a negative factor, certain analysts have been trolling the quarterback for his habit of patting the ball before throwing it. Some discussion forums have gone on to remark that this habit can be a weakness for his team, since it can serve as a ‘tell’ for the opponents.

However, numerous analysts, from Mel Kiper to Chris Simm,s have come out in defense of Shedeur Sanders’ ball-patting habit. They have brought out examples of numerous successful quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers and even Tom Brady, who have also had this habit on the field.

Shedeur Sanders is touted to be one of the leading names in the upcoming NFL draft, and will certainly bring his immense talent wherever he goes. In fact, in a recent interview on his Pro Day, Sanders remarked that whichever team would get him would experience some serious improvement. Currently, the Cleveland Browns, the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers have all shown major interest in Shedeur Sanders.
