Shedeur Sanders and his marketing team are reportedly doing their best to improve his reputation after his position dipped in the recent NFL draft ,according to former sports columnist Jason Whitlock. On Monday, Whitlock covered this exact topic on his podcast ‘Fearless’, basically discussing the fact that the New York Giants are refusing to release the video of his visit.
A few days back, it was reported that the interview Shedeur Sanders had with the New York Giants went so badly that his family and the Cleveland Browns have threatened to take legal action if the Giants ever release the footage. The Giants are also apparently unwilling to release the footage, mainly since they did pick him in the draft.
“Somebody said that the Giants won’t release the video of Shedeur’s visit because it’s so bad it would bury him. But all of this seems like Deion, Shedeur, and their marketing team realized that Shedeur’s reputation and the way he carried himself cost him $50 million and they’re trying to rehabilitate this guy’s image. I think they’re hoping that someone has an injury during preseason or early in the season and Shedeur has some trade value.” Jason Whitlock said about Shedeur Sanders on his ‘Fearless’ podcast.
Shedeur Sanders was expected to be one of the best-performing players in the 2025 NFL draft. However, after multiple NFL scouts and analysts painted him as ‘arrogant’ and ‘brash’ for his attitude in his pre-draft process, Sanders quickly found himself uncalled and unpicked in the first few rounds of the NFL draft.

Shedeur Sanders Leaves Browns Impressed In Mini-Camp
Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders seems to be a man on a mission after blowing everyone’s minds at the recent Cleveland Browns mini-camp. Sanders apparently was on fire at the camp, leaving everyone impressed.

The Cleveland Browns already have veteran quarterback Joe Flacco as their starting QB for the upcoming season. Therefore, it is quite unlikely that Shedeur Sanders will have a spot as their starter for the Browns. Still, if some unforeseen injury occurs in the NFL pre-season, the Browns might look up to Sanders to carry the mantle.

The Browns finished at the bottom of the AFC North in the previous NFL season after winning only three games and losing 14. The Browns are scheduled to take on the Minnesota Vikings for their season opening game this October as per recent reports.
