Shedeur Sanders Gives Emoji Reaction At Travis Hunter’s $46M Rookie Contract Signing

Shedeur Sanders, newly drafted quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, could not be happier for his Colorado Buffaloes teammate and longtime friend, Travis Hunter, who recently signed his rookie contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. On Sunday, the Jaguars announced that they were signing Hunter as a wide receiver and a defensive back.

The four-year rookie contract is one of the highest in the National Football League and is worth a total amount of $46.65 million, including a $30 million signing bonus. Hunter’s contract makes that of Sanders look massively tiny, with Deion ‘Coach Prime’ Sanders’ youngest son signing a deal worth $4.647 million, which includes a $447,380 signing bonus. Still, Sanders seemed pretty happy for his friend by reacting to it with a fingers-crossed emoji.

Travis Hunter will be playing on both offense as well as defense with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and is already being considered a generational talent. However, many NFL analysts have raised doubts as to how Hunter will manage to accomplish this and also train for this in such a short span of time before the season officially kicks off.

Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders is already proving himself to be a worthy rookie in training camps with the Cleveland Browns. Sanders was actually expected to be a major top draft prospect, just like Travis Hunter. However, because of the media portrayal of Sanders as ‘brash and arrogant’, his draft stock plummeted.

Shedeur Sanders’ name was not called out in the first few rounds of the draft, while Hunter was already bagged by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the very first round. Sanders had to wait until the fifth round for the Cleveland Browns to select him.

Shedeur Sanders Roasted By Shilo Sanders For Speeding Ticket

On another note, Shedeur Sanders was lately roasted by none other than his own brother, Shilo Sanders. In a video clip which is now going viral, Shilo Sanders can be heard warning other members of his family to be careful while crossing the street “especially if Shedeur is out here”.

The joke by Shilo Sanders comes as Shedeur Sanders was recently given a speeding ticket in Cleveland. This is not the youngest Sanders’ first speeding ticket. In fact, it was his second one in the month. The speeding ticket ticked off many of Sanders’ haters, who took to social media to comment negatively on the young Cleveland Browns quarterback. However, it seems like Shilo Sanders is having fun with the whole thing right now.
