Shedeur Sanders is determined to prove everyone wrong. The projected first round pick falling to the 5th round (144th overall) was the shock of the draft. It will likely be talked about for years to come.
However, fans aren’t too happy with the 23-year-old rookie at the moment.
“He’s Unserious” Shedeur Sanders Faces Massive Criticism After “Mic’d Up” Moment Leaked

While practicing with the Cleveland Browns, cameras caught quarterbacks Joe Flacco and Shedeur Sanders discussing dancing:
The Browns’ starting quarterback job is one of the most compelling training camp position battles to follow this summer. With Deshaun Watson expected to miss most (if not all) of 2025 recovering from a torn Achilles, Flacco, Sanders, Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel are battling for the QB1 job in Cleveland.
Flacco is regarded as the early front-runner to be the club’s Week 1 starter, and for good reason. The 40-year-old is the most experienced of the bunch, and he won Comeback Player of the Year honors in his first stint with the Browns two years ago.
But the nature of the competition doesn’t stop Shedeur Sanders and the Super Bowl 47 MVP from having playful conversations. The Browns shared a video of a mic’d up Sanders asking the veteran if he ever hit a certain dance move, leading to a priceless reaction from Flacco.
“Definitely not. I don’t know if I’ve ever hit a public dance move in my life,” Flacco said.

The Browns will kick off their 2025 season at home against the AFC North rival and Joe Burrow-led Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 7.
The 23-year-old Shedeur Sanders was widely expected to be a top-10 selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. But in an all-time stunner, he fell all the way down to Cleveland in round five at No. 144 overall.
Sanders was regarded as the No. 2 quarterback prospect in this year’s class behind No. 1 selection Cam Ward. Incredibly, five quarterbacks were selected before Sanders, including the aforementioned Dillon Gabriel.
