NFL fans are convinced that Shedeur Sanders has been revealing his preferred NFL landing spot in the draft, after every football Sunday this year. Shedeur may be the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming draft, but it is becoming clear that he has a real preference for who drafts him.
Shedeur Sanders Continues To Allude To His Preferred NFL Team
Fans are convinced that Sanders has been alluding to his favorite team to be drafted by all season long, and by now, it seems like it may very well be a real thing. Sanders is the superstar of college football, with a superstar Hall of Fame father, and he is projected to be taken at the very top of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Sanders is the top prospect at the quarterback position on many analysts’ leaderboards, and his father Deion Sanders has been vocal that he may get involved to make sure that Shedeur goes to the right team.
We have seen other big-time prospects, who had NFL fathers, get their way when It comes to the draft so Shedeur may end up going exactly where he wants to. Coach Prime has been vocal that he may pull a ‘Manning’ and get Sheduer to where he wants to go:
“Yeah, but I’m not gonna do it publicly. I’ll do it privately,” Sanders told Michael Irvin.
There are many teams that are in the running for Sanders with both the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers showing interest in the prospect, but while many teams require a quarterback, Sheduer has his sights set on one team.
So far, it does not sound like Sanders wants to be in Cleveland or Carolina for his NFL career, and per Draft guru Todd McShay, there is a real chance that Deion would block his son from going there:
“Do you think for a second that Coach Prime is gonna allow his son to go to Cleveland or Carolina?” McShay asked.
“I think it is a legitimate conversation.”
Sheduer has been commenting on social media after every Sunday of football and it appears that he has a preferred destination on his mind. Fans have caught that every single time the Las Vegas Raiders lose a game, Shedeur has been posting right after they lose saying:
“Thank you GOD,” the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback has written after each loss.

The Raiders have lost 8 of their games so far and after each game, Shedeur has been posting in celebration. The times that they won, however, Shedeur abstained from his usual post, making fans certain that he wanted to go to Vegas.
Sheduer is also quite close with one of the new Vegas owners Tom Brady, and they may be able to secure him with their top pick of the first round come draft time. This team has been in dire need of a good quarterback for some time now, and they will need one to compete with all of the rest of the AFC West that continues to get stronger.
