Since the time Shedeur Sanders planned on moving to the NFL, he’s constantly been in the limelight. Sanders was not selected in the first round, but he finally made it to the big leagues with the Cleveland Browns. However, he’s still not the only rookie QB on the team.
Sanders must battle his way through Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and Dillon Gabriel. It’s going to be hard for him to make it to the top to get the starting QB role for the Browns. Yet, there are several people who believe in Sanders and his potential to find a breakthrough.
Recently, former New York Giants QB Tim Hasselbeck shed light on Sanders’ situation. He also showed him some hope as he gears up for the upcoming season.
“Going to a spot that does not have an entrenched starter is a benefit to any quarterback because at least there’s opportunity. If you go to Buffalo, you’re just there to be Josh Allen’s backup,” Hasselbeck told ESPN.
“If you go somewhere else that doesn’t have an entrenched starter, you have a chance, that’s the glimmer of hope, and to your point, if you’re a second-round pick that goes to a place that doesn’t have an entrenched starter, then you presumably become the starter at some point,” Hasselbeck continued.

Shedeur Sanders Continues To Impress At The Browns OTAs
Shedeur Sanders has been excellent with his performance by already showcasing his strong skills. It’s just the second week of the OTAs with the Cleveland Browns and he’s already been productive on the field. Likewise, Sanders seems to have impressed many off the field as well.

It turns out that the QB has been mentally preparing himself before games. Recently, football host Andrew Siciliano talked about Shedeur Sanders’ performance on the Rich Eisen Show.
“He’s got a million-dollar smile, but there are a lot of thoughts behind that smile. He’s introspective. He’s got a great broader perspective on life. At one point in the interview, it was really telling, he looked at the camera and cautioned young athletes about the perils of social media. I was beyond impressed with my first interaction with the guy. I spent about 15 minutes with him and was very very impressed,” Andrew Siciliano said.

Sanders is showing huge promise on the field with his drills and workouts. He’s making the best of his opportunity, and he’s ready to give it his best with the Browns. Sanders could soon emerge as the top rookie QB for the team.
