Shedeur Sanders will have all eyes on him in the Cleveland Browns training camp as Deion ‘Coach Prime’ Sanders’ youngest son tries to impress his way to starting quarterback. While Sanders is definitely a bright young talent, he is not expected to be QB1 anytime soon since recent reports suggest that the Browns are going with Joe Flacco as starting quarterback for the upcoming season.

At the same time, there are also reports swirling that the Browns might consider splitting the season between all their four quarterbacks, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. The Athletic writer, Zac Jackson recently remarked that Sanders will have plenty to prove in the training camp in his latest write-up, especially if he aims to be the starting signal-caller for the team in the 2025 season.
“In a wide-open, four-man quarterback competition this summer, Sanders will have to show he’s capable of commanding the huddle, mastering the playbook and avoiding some of the mistakes against pressure that evaluators didn’t like from his college tape. The Browns aren’t counting on Sanders to be ready right away, but their quarterback competition could go a dozen ways.” Zac Jackson wrote about Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns in his latest article for The Athletic.

Shedeur Sanders not only has much to prove to the Cleveland Browns, but also all the haters who have been putting him down ever since the draft process. Sanders was painted as being ‘brash and arrogant’ and had his on-field abilities dissected and dissed a number of times. However, the quarterback has managed to put on a strong face always and has let his work do the talking.
Shedeur Sanders May Be Shipped Off If He Does Not Impress In Training Camp
On the other side, Shedeur Sanders may have more than just the starting quarterback role to fight for in the upcoming training camp with the Cleveland Browns. According to NFL analysts, the Browns may use the performance at the training camp to decide which of the quarterbacks they will want to retain and who they will want to chuck from the roster.

If Shedeur Sanders does perform very well, Dillon Gabriel may get the axe and if Gabriel is the one to churn out impressive numbers, Coach Prime’s youngest son may no longer be with the Cleveland Browns. At the same time, the Browns have had a history of holding tightly to the draft picks and may not give up either Sanders or Gabriel at all.
