Shedeur Sanders has already gained attention from Jon Schoen, New York Giants general manager, who recently shared his opinions about the young college football player. Because of his amazing numbers for the Jackson State Tigers and the Colorado Buffaloes, Shedeur Sanders is expected to be among the top picks of the 2025 NFL Draft.
The 22-year-old already has a number of accolades to his name, including the Jerry Rice Award and the Deacon Jones Trophy when he played for Jackson State, and the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award during his time with the Colorado Buffaloes.
“He’s a great kid. Really good personality. Football smart. Dad’s a football coach. It’s a little bit cliche, but he checks all the boxes of a dad that’s a football coach and the passion that he approaches the game with. It was good getting the meeting. He’s had a really good career in Colorado, and obviously, look forward to getting to know all those guys the rest of the process.” Jon Schoen commented as reported by The Athletic’s Charlotte Carroll.
