Shedeur Sanders was recently praised by retired NFL running back LeSean McCoy, and compared to none other than Tom Brady. McCoy appeared on ‘The Facility’ recently and shared his opinions on Deion ‘Coach Prime’ Sanders’ youngest son.
McCoy seemed to come out in defense of Sanders, even as numerous other fans and analysts continue to deride the otherwise talented quarterback. Sanders’ shaming started way before the 2025 NFL draft began as the media portrayed him as brash and arrogant. However, many of his haters also took back their words after the young quarterback started showing his immense potential during the training activities conducted by his team, the Cleveland Browns.
“I know a lot of people be saying a lot of different things about Shedeur, but now, I feel like they starting to really understand what’s going on now. That’s because you see what that kid looks like at practice. You seen his work ethic; everything you heard about him is not true. Don’t let the jewelry, and the music, and the swagger fool you. He is a hard worker. First thing the head coach said, ‘Hey, he’s the first one in the building, he’s the last one to leave.’ Sounds like someone else I know, his name is Brady.” LeSean McCoy said on ‘The Facility’ about Shedeur Sanders.
Shedeur Sanders was selected by the Cleveland Browns as the 144th pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft. Before the draft, Sanders played college football for the Jackson State Tigers and the Colorado Buffaloes. In his senior year with the Buffaloes, Sanders threw for a total of 4,134 yards, scoring 37 touchdowns, while managing ten interceptions for the team.
Shedeur Sanders Attends Former Teammate, Travis Hunter’s Wedding In Tennessee
Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders attended Jacksonville Jaguars’ quarterback, Travis Hunter’s wedding over the weekend. On Saturday, Hunter married his longtime girlfriend, Leanna Lenee in Tennessee and Sanders was an honored guest.
Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter have come a long way since their college football days. Both the footballers played college football as teammates for the Jackson State Tigers and the Colorado Buffaloes, where they both were coached by Sanders’ father, Deion Sanders.
Both Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee were matching in white, with Hunter opting for a tux and Lenee flaunting her figure in a strapless white gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline. Lenee also wore a fabulous white veil with fabric roses on them.
