Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward will be two of the most watched rookies this upcoming season. Sanders will be fighting for a roster spot while Ward looks to be the future in Tennessee. However, both quarterbacks feel they have what it takes to become a star in this league.
That being said, Sanders may not be too fond of Ward.
Shedeur Sanders Completely Disrespects Cam Ward In Public (Watch)

As two of the biggest NFL rookies crossed paths in Los Angeles, fans expected a handshake, maybe a friendly chat… not an ugly standoff:
That’s exactly what happened when Cam Ward, the No. 1 overall pick, asked Cleveland Browns rookie Shedeur Sanders for a jersey swap at the NFLPA Rookie Premier. Sanders, smiling but standing firm, gave Ward a surprising answer.
“I gotta sell it, bruh. I gotta have some type of money. You feel me? I’m already down,” Sanders told Ward, who laughed off the moment. The Browns quarterback didn’t flinch when delivering the line, but his words pointed to the hard truth behind his draft-day slide.
Once projected as a first-rounder, Sanders fell to the fifth round, a drop that came with a serious cut in expected earnings.

Ward’s journey looked very different. The Tennessee Titans made him the top draft pick, locking him in for a four-year deal worth $48.75 million. His signing bonus alone is projected to land at $32.1 million, according to contract figures reported by FanDuel. That kind of payday makes giving away a jersey or two easy.
Sanders, on the other hand, enters the league with something to prove. His fifth-round selection by the Browns stunned many draft analysts. But Sanders isn’t sulking. Kevin Stefanski praised Shedeur Sanders early after the rookie showed confidence and embraced the challenge during minicamp. “He’ll have the opportunity to compete,” Stefanski told reporters, making it clear the door is open for Sanders to push for the starting job.

In a recent interview with Browns broadcaster Nathan Zegura, Sanders shared his mindset. “I want to give Cleveland fans something to hope for,” he said, showing he’s already thinking beyond his draft slot. Despite the cameras and buzz at the Rookie Premier, Sanders kept it real. Whether it was about holding onto his jersey or fighting for a bigger role in Cleveland, he stuck to his guns.
The interaction with Ward wasn’t tense, just honest. Two quarterbacks, two very different draft stories, one shared moment that reminded everyone how real and human these rookies still are.
