Shedeur Sanders is being labeled a lucky find for the Cleveland Browns, especially after his impressive skills in the offseason training camps. This was reiterated and discussed by sports media personality Colin Cowherd, who compared Sanders to the ‘Post-it Note’ invention.
Sanders was not exactly on Cleveland’s mind when they entered the draft. In fact, the team already decided to grab Dillon Gabriel in the draft as their future quarterback. However, when Sanders’ name was called out in the fifth round of the NFL draft, it was surprising to see the Browns end up bagging him.
“So there were these two scientists back in like the 1960s for 3M, the company 3M. And they were trying to create this super strong adhesive for the aerospace industry. But even though they’re scientists and smart guys, they ended up creating a much weaker adhesive that was very removable, and that became post-it notes. … But the point being is they stumbled into wild success, and I think that’s what the Cleveland Browns have done. The coach in the GM did not want to, they didn’t want to draft Shedeur Sanders, and they did in the fifth round, two rounds after Dillon Gabriel, and he’s crushing it. He’s their best quarterback in camp.” Colin Cowherd said about Shedeur Sanders in the Cleveland Browns minicamp.

Shedeur Sanders seems to have shrugged off all the hate that he has been receiving ever since the draft process. While the draft was ongoing, Sanders was called brash and arrogant, but has done a 180-degree move by being the most hard-working player in the Cleveland Browns roster right now.

Shedeur Sanders Complimented By Brother For Minicamp Performance
Shedeur Sanders wowed everyone with his performance at the recent training camps with the Cleveland Browns, including his older brother, Deion Sanders Jr. Sanders Jr. responded to a video of Sanders impressing at the camp with a compliment from his X account.
“It’s a beautiful thing.” Deion Sanders Jr. tweeted in response to his younger brother, Shedeur Sanders’ performance in the training camp.

In the minicamp, Shedeur Sanders was visibly missing from the first team, which raised many questions. However, in a conversation with press reporters, head coach Kevin Stefanski remarked that the team is in their training phase and that Sanders’ absence from the first team practice does not exactly mean anything. Sanders is expected to definitely start for the Browns in some capacity in the upcoming football season.
